The 6 key areas to boom a practice are:
1. Effective promotion leading to new patient referrals from doctors.

5. Getting referrals from current and past patients
6. Managing a productive and efficient staff
When I go into a practice, I look for lost income in these 6 key areas above and identify what could this practice accomplish to lessen the lost income.
In other words, I attempt to find ways to increase the revenue in the easiest ways possible, based upon the need, resources and capabilities of the management team and the staff.
